Ergo & Mane sits on Main Street in Bridgewater on Loddon, seven kilometres south-east of Inglewood, Victoria (3517) — about six minutes along the Calder Highway, without leaving Loddon Shire. For most of Inglewood it is a shorter trip than the drive across Bendigo, and there is parking directly outside the salon.
We work exclusively with NATULIQUE — certified organic and naturally derived colour and care, free from parabens, sulphates and artificial fragrances. It is the same colour work you would travel to a city salon for, without the travel.
Appointments run Monday to Friday, with a late night until 9pm on Tuesdays if daytime does not suit.

Two Towns, One Story
BRIDGEWATER AND INGLEWOOD GO BACK A LONG WAY
Bridgewater on Loddon began, in part, as a settlement for miners working the Inglewood goldfields — the Loddon River offered drinking water when Inglewood's own supply had become unfit to drink. Gold was struck at Inglewood in 1859 and some 16,000 diggers followed. The two towns have been each other's near neighbours on the Calder Highway ever since.
Inglewood went on to become the home of the Blue Mallee eucalyptus and Australia's largest eucalyptus oil distillery — a town that has been working with what grows locally for a very long time. We take much the same view of what goes on hair.
Which is a long way of saying: the drive is nothing. People have been making it for well over a century.
