Balayage — Medium Hair
Perfect for medium-length hair, creating a natural, graduated look with more colour concentrated at the ends and softer tones toward the roots. Your appointment includes consultation, balayage application, toner, treatment, cut and blow-dry. Allow approximately 3.25 hours.
Balayage — Long Hair
For those with longer locks, this package includes extra application time to ensure beautiful, even coverage and seamless blending throughout the full length of your hair. Includes consultation, balayage application, toner, treatment, cut and blow-dry. Allow approximately 3.5 hours.

KEEPING YOUR BALAYAGE FRESH
One of the best things about balayage is its low-maintenance grow-out — but a little upkeep goes a long way. Our Bridgewater salon offers a range of maintenance services to keep your balayage looking its best between full appointments.
Gloss / Toner Refresh — An all-over toner that refreshes your balayage tone, reduces brassiness or adds warmth. Available for both short and long hair. Allow approximately 1.5 hours.
Root Tap — A subtle colour applied at the roots to soften grow-out lines and extend the life of your balayage. Allow approximately 30–45 minutes.
Root Shadow — Creates a deeper shadow at the base, adding depth and dimension to your blonde or highlighted balayage. Allow approximately 30–45 minutes.
Colour Melt — Seamlessly blends your balayage into the root colour for a natural, cohesive transition from dark roots to lighter ends. Allow approximately 1.5 hours.

What is the difference between balayage and foils?
Balayage is hand-painted onto the hair surface for a soft, graduated effect — the colour is more concentrated at the ends and lighter toward the roots. Foils wrap individual sections for more uniform, precise lightening. Balayage has a more natural grow-out, meaning fewer touch-ups and a lower-maintenance result.
How often does balayage need to be maintained?
One of the great benefits of balayage is its low maintenance. Most clients come in every 12–16 weeks for a full balayage touch-up, depending on the look. A toner refresh every 6–8 weeks keeps the tone vibrant and brass-free between full appointments.
How long does a balayage appointment take?
A full balayage appointment typically takes 3 to 3.5 hours, including consultation, application, processing time, toner, treatment and styling. We recommend booking plenty of time so we can achieve the best result for your hair.
Can I get balayage on dark hair?
Absolutely. Balayage works beautifully on dark hair and is one of the best techniques for adding dimension without a dramatic, high-maintenance result. We'll tailor the lightening and toning to suit your natural base colour and desired outcome.
